< Product introduction:
Dipt and (dichloromethane) hardener mixture is suitable for bonding between rubber and rubber rubber and metal rubber and fabric fabric and fabric. It is especially suitable for the repair and cold vulcanization of conveyor belts (chloroprene, nitrile belts and polyester fabrics, artificial fabrics, nylon fabrics), seamless bonding of roller lagging and anti-wear and anti-corrosion rubber veneers on various metal surfaces.
■Features of belt adhesive:
High quality - Excellent bonding strength exceeds the German D industrial standard and is at the same level as hot vulcanization bonding strength. (In the repair of conveyor belts and cold seamless bonding, the bonding strength can exceed the bonding strength of hot vulcanization). Its excellent performance leads its global counterparts.
Convenience - simple tools and operation without the use of large equipment such as vulcanizers.
Fast - In case of emergency repair, it can be immediately repaired and used to minimize downtime losses.
Reliable - the shelf life is two years, which is much longer than other similar products.
Applicable - the applicable working temperature can be up to short.
■Notes:
The temperature of the working environment and materials is higher than ℃. The humidity of the surrounding environment must be less than %.
The bonding surface must be dry and clean, free of grease, oil and chemicals.
The above information is the result of field experiments. Because of different materials and working conditions, we recommend that you do experiments first during on-site construction.
, unmixed belt glue and hardener should be sealed and stored in a cool, dry place.
. Try to avoid contact with skin before this product is cured. In case of accidental contact, wash immediately with water and soap.
■Preparation work for belt glue:
Rubber: Use a tungsten steel polishing disc or wire wheel to completely polish it (no shiny surface) and then use a brush to clean off the dust (do not use water or chemical solvents) ).
Core body: Grind off the remaining glue and then gently grind the fabric (be careful not to damage the fabric layer) to remove the dust (do not use water or chemical solvents).
Metal: Use Dipt cleaning agent to remove grease on the metal surface and then polish it with a sand wheel or sandblasting. Apply a coat of Dipt Metallic Primer if necessary and allow to dry completely.
Mixing: Mix the hardener and hardener in the appropriate proportion and stir thoroughly. (i.e. grams of hardener per kilogram). It must be used up within one hour after mixing, otherwise it will harden and become ineffective.
Apply: Apply a second even thin layer to the combined surface. The surface with an adhesive layer does not need to apply the first layer. The first layer must be completely dry (up to 1 minute) to the point where it no longer sticks to the backs of your fingers. When the second layer dries to a point where it is still slightly sticky (test it with your finger), you can proceed with the final bonding of the surface. (If the second coat is too dry, apply another coat).
Bonding: Stick the two sides together to avoid bubbles and tight fit and compaction.
Recommendation: It is recommended to use Dipt metal primer to pre-treat the metal surface to improve the adhesion and reliability of rubber and metal
